On 14-15 November, FlexFunction2Sustain project and ESNA – European Sustainable Nanotechnology solutions Association were proudly presented at the esteemed Sustainable Packaging Summit 2023. The event gave us the possibility to unveil our mission, goals and latest achievements, aimed at redefining the landscape of environmentally responsible packaging solutions.
The Sustainable Packaging Summit 2023, hosted in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, is a unique meeting place of global smart packaging industry leaders, with the primary objective to address the challenges and obstacles on the pathway to sustainable transformation. The event fosters alignment among businesses, regulatory bodies, and society, with a shared focus on shaping the trajectory of sustainable practices in the packaging sector for establishing a circular, net-zero packaging ecosystem.
During the session Nano-futures: FlexFunction2Sustain and ESNA, Christian May (Fraunhofer FEP), Dirk Brueckner (GEMIFO) and John Fahlteich (KETMarket) focused on the investment and business opportunities with nano-functionalized surfaces for sustainability in the packaging related industries.
