FlexFunction2Sustain concluded its first year!

On the occasion of the first year of FlexFunction2Sustain implementation, the project team met on 19 – 20 April 2021. Due to the ongoing pandemic situation and related travel restrictions, the meeting was done digitally.

At the beginning of the meeting, John Fahlteich, Group Leader at the Division: Plasma Technology at Fraunhofer-FEP and also coordinator of FlexFunction2Sustain, presented the project’s progress and took the opportunity to thank everyone for their great efforts and to keep the project activities in line with the plan despite the pandemic situation. On the agenda, an overview of the work achieved during the last 6 months in the running Work Packages was presented. In addition to that, the consortium had also the opportunity to meet digitally with its External Advisory Board members, who took part in interesting discussions and provided valuable advice for FlexFunction2Sustain’s future work.

On the second day, Project Generally Assembly meeting was held to get update on the management activities performed to guarantee the smooth progress of the project. Also up for discussion was the establishment of Open Innovation Test Bed, its Internal Process and Business planning.

The meetings proved very fruitful on all fronts, and project partners reached a vision of the tasks at hand over the next months.
