FlexFunction2Sustain will be presented in webinar: Challenges of tomorrow’s packaging, 31 January 2023

On January 31, 2023, from 11:00 to 12:00 CET, our consortium partner IPC organises a webinar: The challenge of tomorrow’s packaging: the latest research and innovations. During the event, the FlexFunction2Sustain project will be presented as an initiative to enable the development of new membranes and surfaces.

At the end of 2022, in its efforts to tackle the challenges related to waste, overpackaging, and sustainable production, the European Commission published the second part of its Circular Economy package introducing, amongst others, its proposal for the revision of the Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive (PPWD). Being involved in various collaborative research projects in favor of sustainable innovations for packaging, IPC supports the French industry to meet the objectives set by the legislation. The event will provide an opportunity to discover European research projects in favour of more environmentally friendly packaging.
