FlexFunction2Sustain empowers packaging circularity with research and industry-unifying innovation
Though the FlexFunction2Sustain project only kicked off around six months ago, the project partners have already progressed towards establishing an Open Innovation Test Bed (OITB) for nano-functionalized flexible plastic and paper surfaces and membranes. In the first articles published by the consortium partners, they share insights for this eco-friendly packaging initiative and explain how the project is helping them upgrade their production processes, pilot lines, and characterization possibilities to overcome various technological hurdles in order to ensure innovative packaging solutions.
